Satheesh is the CEO of India Food Exports, one of the premier manufacturers and exporters of cashew kernels from India. The company is also an OEM supplier to multinationals .
He trained as an Engineer (Electronics).. As far back as he remembers, he has always had an abiding love of photography. He began experimenting with a box camera - a present his parents received on their wedding! From vacation photographs to a serious study of fishes in his backyard pond has been a journey of transition to great proficiency and skill. The true worth of his work was discovered by Antonia Manta, an Italian Hasselblad photographer and instructor who invited him to set up his first solo exhibition “A Fish Pond Story”, in Italy. Images from his ‘A Day in Falkland Street’ were selected for the Hasselblad Bulletin.
Water and waterscapes with its interplay and expressions of light have always inspired Satheesh. He has constantly investigated the ability of light and shade to expand the concept of space.
His first solo exhibition 'Glimpses' at the Durbar Hall, Kochi in April, 2016 received an excellent response. He was consequently invited to display his works under the auspices of the Annual Soorya Arts Festival at the Lalitha Kala Academy Auditorium, Thiruvananthapuram in Dec 2016.
